The weather was fabulous at the end of February which gave us a great opportunity to start the planned external refurbishment at Stonegarth. Our local contractors were decorator Andy Schofield and joiner Peter May who worked hard get everything ready to despite the snow and high winds that returned in early March. Their dedication paid off and the cottage will be ready to take bookings from Friday 22nd March, two weeks earlier than planned. 

Stonegarth is a traditional cottage in the heart of old Staithes which is perfect for couples and small families alike. The cottage is set in a quiet location just off the High Street but with easy access to the pubs, shops and harbour.

Our guests love the traditional feel of the cottage with its original ceiling beams and stripped floors in the bedrooms but also appreciate the modern house bathroom and underfloor heating on the ground floor. The cottage has a multifuel stove and we provide a complimentary initial supply of logs and kindling October to April inclusive. Pet friendly with tiled floors. Free Wi-Fi access.
