Fisherman’s Cottage is full of lots of charm and character and is located in a quiet location right in the heart of the old village. The property has had a number of upgrades over the last two years and is a great property for couples wanting more space or a family wanting the benefit of three bedrooms – two doubles and one twin. The ground floor is a social space with the lounge/diner and separate well equipped kitchen. The harbour front, village pubs/restaurants, shops and local visitor attractions are all a short walk from the front door of the cottage.
DC, August 2024 - It’s a great house in a great location - 1 minute from the beach but tucked away up a quiet alleyway. Three big bedrooms. Kitchen was very well-equipped - lots of pans etc (and decent kitchen knives!). Night lights on the stairs and upstairs hallways were very useful.

Step off Gunn Gutter and in to the open plan lounge/diner with two sofas and an armchair plus large dining table seating 6. The separate kitchen is well equipped with large range cooker; washing machine; fridge with freezer compartment and Nespresso coffee machine. Tiled/laminate floors throughout the whole of the ground floor.
On the first floor is a light and airy double bedroom and twin bedroom plus the house bathroom with separate bath and walk in shower. A further staircase leads up to the second floor which has another spacious double bedroom.
There is full central heating throughout plus an electric fire on the ground floor, so the cottage is cosy whatever time of the year. Fisherman’s Cottage is located in a quite location on Gun Gutter and it is only a short walk to reach the harbour front, village pubs/restaurants, shops and local visitor attractions. Parking is available for unloading only and you will need to approach the cottage on foot. There is short term parking (40 mins only) on the High Street and we provide a parking permit (subject to T&Cs) for the NYC section of Staithes Bank Top car park which is a 10 minutes’ walk from the cottage. The internal staircases are steep and may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.
