Rosalyn is a Visit England Four Star rated cottage located in quiet yard just off the main High Street of Staithes. The cottage is spacious with accommodation set over four floors. Rosalyn was fully restored in 2006 and benefits from modern facilities and appliances, an open fire in the lounge and full central heating throughout. Further improvements are planned during Spring 2012. Rosalyn enjoys the perfect location in the heart of Staithes with easy access to local shops, pubs and restaurants and is only a short walk to the seafront. Short term parking is available in the High Street for unloading and the main car park is a 5-10 minute walk from the cottage.

Cottage Layout
Ground floor - lounge/diner with feature fireplace and open fire, fold out dining table with seating for 6, two sofas, TV, DVD/Video player and CD player. The separate kitchen has oven/hob/extractor, Belfast sink, combi microwave/grill, larder fridge, table-top freezer, washing machine and breakfast bar with 2 stools.
Basement - games room with TV, DVD/video player, selection of videos and DVDs, table football, table hockey, darts board and bean bags. A great space for the kids to chill out!
First floor - good sized twin room with wardrobe and chest of drawers, small bunk room with wardrobe. House shower room.
Second floor - lovely master bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Great views from the rear window across the Staithes roof tops towards Cowbar cliff. Large en suite bathroom with roll top bath and hand held shower. As these rooms are in the attic space please note there is restricted head height on the staircase and in some areas of this floor.
Outside - shared yard to front of property.

The cottage is strictly non- smoking. The internal staircases are steep and may not be suitable for people with mobility issues and there is some restricted head height on the second floor.
Bedding and towels are provided and we include utility bills in the rental and an initial supply of coal for the open fire November to March inclusive. We provide a parking permit for use in the Staithes Bank Top car park when parking charges apply March to October inclusive.
A travel cot and high chair are available free of charge by prior arrangement and subject to availability.
We are happy to accept one dog at the property for an additional charge of £25 and may consider an additional dog by prior arrangement. We ask that your dog stays on the ground floor and basement areas of the cottage, is kept off furniture and not left alone in the cottage at any time unless you bring a travel crate.
We charge a refundable damage deposit against any significant damage or loss of the parking permit. The damage deposit is due with your final balance one month prior to arrival and is returned to you once we have checked the property and confirmed that the parking permit is in place. We will provide full terms and conditions at the time of booking. Payment is by cheque or internet transfer.
