Cottage Details

Sleeps 7 +1 in two double, twin and single bedrooms plus there is space for an additional child on a fold out bed. Magnificent sea views from all rooms at the front of the cottage. Lounge, large kitchen/diner, house bathroom, en suite to master bedroom. Full central heating and log burner. Parking permit for Staithes Bank Top provided March to October inclusive.

Penny Nab is set in the perfect location on Church Street, just off Staithes harbour and is a great property in which to spend time with family and friends. The cottage has been fully restored in a contemporary but sympathetic style and enjoys modern facilities/appliances throughout with a log burner on the ground floor and full central heating. The cottage has great views of the harbour from the front of the property and a panoramic view out to sea from the master bedroom on the second floor. With only a short walk to the harbour, village pubs and shops this is a great cottage for holidays throughout the year. You can unload your car outside the cottage and the main car park is a 5-10 minute walk from the cottage.

Cottage Layout

Ground Floor - large living room with sea views to the front, original beams, stripped floor boards, log burner, leather sofas, TV/DVD player, CD/i-Pod player and wide selection of DVDs and CDs.

Lower Ground Floor - modern kitchen/diner which is well equipped with double oven, hob/extractor, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and large pine dining table with 8 chairs. There is also a separate utility/drying room with washing machine and separate access to a small rear yard and Gun Gutter beyond.

First Floor - double bedroom with great views of the harbour and twin bedroom to rear of cottage. Both bedrooms have original stripped beams, large pine bedsteads and luxurious mattresses. House bathroom has full sized bath and shower.

Second Floor – double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Original stripped beams plus full width windows which perfectly show off the view across the harbour out to sea. Good sized single bedroom to rear of cottage.

The cottage is strictly non- smoking. The internal staircases are steep and may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.

Bedding and towels are provided and we include utility bills in the rental plus an initial supply of logs for the log burner November to March inclusive. We provide a parking permit for use in the Staithes Bank Top car park when parking charges apply March to October inclusive.

A travel cot and high chair are available free of charge by prior arrangement and subject to availability.

We are happy to accept one dog at the property for an additional charge of £25 and may consider an additional dog by prior arrangement. We ask that your dog stays on the ground floor/basement levels of the cottage at all times, is kept off furniture and not left alone in the cottage at any time unless you bring a travel crate.

We charge a refundable damage deposit against any significant damage or loss of the parking permit. The damage deposit is due with your final balance one month prior to arrival and is returned to you once we have checked the property and confirmed that the parking permit is in place. We will provide full terms and conditions at the time of booking. Payment is by cheque or internet transfer.
